Before we continue with our fable, It's time for coffee, if we're just able. You see, for faculty, it is tradition, Something that shouldn't raise suspicion. And here for this is an owl so cute, Smart, and wise, of great repute! Short and round, and fluffy too, A genius is he, through and through. He loves his coffee night and day, He'll drink it always, come what may. For thanks to coffee he loves to drink, He's smarter than any professor may think!

He had no skills or merit, other than for scheming, Yet to be a campus ruler, Sneaky Snake was always dreaming. For as a campus ruler, he could act without a care, To wreak havoc left and right and make the faculty despair. At first, however, he did fail to join the campus leader lot, Back when wise administrators could clearly see his plot. So he attempted other jobs to make the people cower, But his skills were clearly lacking, and he never got to power. With wicked plans beyond compare, he kept along his path, He slowly worked on tactics, and then he checked the math; Until one day he was convinced that he’d hit on a winner, His laughter echoed through the night, ...

But Small Campus, callous and unconcerned, Dismissed his plea, and robbed him of all he earned. He turned to Campus Gopher, clueless and blind, And Big Gopher, hoping for some help to find. They refused to act, ignoring the law's demand, Leaving the Brave Little Lecturer to take a stronger stand. Again he asked for his just accommodation, From the Small Campus administration. But Big Boss's Lawyers and the Campus Gopher, Ran his rights over with a lawnmower. So our Brave Little Lecturer, with cause just and true, Sought Chameleon's help, equal rights to pursue. A college tale, all up in a whirl, Of characters whose lives we shall unfurl. Though fictitious, not true from real life, They capture the essence of faculty strife. The characters we'll meet are not real, Any likeness to life, no matter how genteel; Is just by chance, complete coincidence, Just imagination with no significance. Our story takes place at a university, But it is a fictitious one, you see. On a planet far away it floats likes cotton, With multiples campuses, as is not uncommon. One satellite we'll call Small Campus, Which once was bright, with high, great status. Splendid leaders, intelligent and true, Guided the way, with a great path to pursue! But darkness came, a sinister force, Small Campus turned, its virtuous course, And dark clouds gathered, as evil came, And turned a happy place to one of shame. Yet still, a glimmer of hope remains, That light will vanquish this evil's stain. For hearts of those who seek the right, Have the power to restore the light....
